This is the Genesis Sailplane under construction. It was built from the Peck-Polymers kit, and will be radio controlled. The radio gear consists of a Hitech Focus 3 FM tranmitter, and FMA Direct M5v2 Sub Micro receiver, and two Hitech HS-55 servos.

How did the Genesis turn out? Is it flying? I have a Genesis kit and just want to know if you encountered any unusual difficulties or quirks.
The Genesis requires considerable washout in in the wings. I originally covered it in silkspan, which was not strong enough. I recovered it in Polyspan, which is OK. If I had to do it again, I would use plastic film or silk for extra strength. It glides, from a hill, very nicely. I need a better launch method. I will try a hi-start next.
